a couple of weekends ago we shot Ali and Brandon’s wedding. Ali and Brandon were so pleasant to work with and we had such a great time!! it was a little cold and a little rainy on their wedding day, but we still managed to get a few outside shots. brace yourself…we are posting alot! hope you enjoy!!

this weekend we shot a wonderful wedding. we haven’t had time to go through all the pictures, but have so many that we love! so for now i thought that we would share a couple from her bridals a while back.

We just got home from shooting a wedding, and I was downloading cards and backing up images when this picture caught my eye. I haven’t really gotten to go through all the other pictures yet (it is past midnight), but I just had to blog this one. I love moments like this between the bride and groom when no one is paying attention and it is just them two sharing a quiet moment together. Priceless.

i just want to start by saying that you know you’re in the south when you dress your dog up for mardi gras and take them to a pet parade. there’s just not much to say!! yep that’s right…heather did it again. heather decided to take abby to the pet parade, and believe me when i say that it would just be wrong for abby to go to the parade without a costume. (at least that is what is heather said.)
now… i do have to admit (b/c heather is making me) that i am the costume designer and preparer and i will take full responsibility for that! but the costume was not my idea nor did i spend any of my hard earned money on a pet costume.
now, with all that said…doesn’t abby just look so happy in her yellow and purple toule skirt!!!

A couple of weeks ago, Miranda and I took some photos of my cousin Quint for senior pictures. And just thinking about him graduating highschool makes me feel soooooooooo old. But this is one of the sweetest and most polite (and COUNTRY) boys you’ll ever come across . I had such a good time hanging out with him for a couple hours and taking pics. I’ve started going through the pictures, and I chose just a couple to go ahead and blog. See, isn’t he a cutie!

Heather and I are so lucky to have the best clients! Our clients are our best means of advertising and we are so blessed to be able to get so many referrals from them that there is no need for us to even advertise! Hannah and Brandon contacted us after we shot their friends, Lacey and Matt’s wedding. thanks for the referral Lacey and ms. Shannon.
Hannah and Brandon were so easy to work with. they pretty much did every thing heather asked them do including climbing a tree. we had a great time shooting their engagement session and are looking forward to their wedding!
**disclaimer for future clients** Heather is the crazy one and will always ask you to do crazy things. If this occurs and it really is crazy, then I will try to save you!

but it definitely doesn’t mean that we haven’t been busy. This past month has actually been VERY busy for us with several bridal shoots (which we can’t show until after the weddings), working on our new website that will be ready oh-so-very soon, and booking lots of very fun weddings for this coming year. We get the ball rolling this month with two weddings, and then that ball doesn’t slow down for the next several months. We’re very excited!!
And we’re also very excited to share these recent engagement pics of Jenny and Peyton. I know we say it all the time, but we seriously had soooo much fun with these two! Jenny and Peyton were highschool sweethearts and have been together for 8 years, but you wouldn’t know it being around them because they are both so sweet and loving that you would think they’re new lovebirds!
I think they might have gotten me addicted to a new hobby, though, because we took some of their pics on a golf course and I enjoyed driving the golf cart around way too much .

Wow! I can’t believe that 2009 is here already. It really seems like 2008 flew by so fast! We wanted to take just a moment to take thank all of our clients from 2008. God has blessed our business so much and he has given us such wonderful clients to work with. We are truly looking forward to 2009. We have some awesome weddings booked and can’t wait to get this year in full swing. We can’t wait to see were God will take our business in 2009.
We have alot of new things in store for 2009: new website, new logo, and new brochures. We can’t wait!!

We shot Lacey and Matt’s wedding at the end of November; and honestly, we were a bit nervous about it at first. Normally, we shoot engagement and bridal photos before the wedding, so the clients are usually pretty comfortable with us in front of the camera come wedding day. But since the wedding was the first time for us to shoot this couple, we didn’t know what to expect. Luckily, we were blessed with such a comfortable, fun, and super sweet couple in Matt and Lacey. They were both naturals and towards the end of the day, we didn’t know why we were even nervous in the first place. It was such an awesome wedding and couple, and we’re excited to share these pictures from their special day.
