My surprise birthday

Ok, so I’m sure I say this every year; but seriously, this has been the best birthday ever! I am so blessed with such wonderful friends and family. My birthday celebration actually started Thursday night while I was in Shreveport with my nursing school friends for a research conference. We went and got sushi and just had a great time. Then, on Friday, my friend Kate drove me home (and by the way, she was driving excruciatingly slow to delay time and it was making me crazy at that moment!), and I walked into my house thinking I was fixing to get ready to go eat at Austin’s Bistro with my friends that night. And lo and behold, there were all my friends waiting for me and a surprise birthday party for me. I was SHOCKED! Seriously, I was absolutely floored by all the time and energy put into this party to make it so unbelievable awesome. Miranda, thank you so much. It was amazing and I had such a great birthday because of it! You’re da best !

For my actual birthday day, we went out to my parent’s house for a crawfish boil with my family. It was yummy yummy ! Thanks Mama and Daddy!!!!
